Lake Brienz wall art brings the bright turquoise of the Swiss Bernese Oberland onto your wall, where meltwater gives the lake a clear, almost tropical blue set against steep green mountains and thin white waterfalls. Brienz lies just east of Interlaken, ringed by forest, small lakeside villages, and the falls that spill down the slopes above it. Our collection captures that fresh color in its many forms, calm mornings with the peaks reflected on the surface, boats crossing the open water, and the deep green woods running down to the shore. The overall feeling is clean and uplifting, the kind of scene that opens a room up and makes a wall feel like it has a view of its own.
It comes down to the color. The turquoise here is unusually bright, a glacial blue-green that reads as crisp and alive rather than heavy. Wrapped in dark green mountains and the pale threads of waterfalls, that clear water gives a room a lift, a sense of clean air and cool light. A canvas like this suits a space you want to feel bright and awake. It sits well in modern and coastal-leaning rooms, and it adds a shot of natural color to a plain wall without the warmth of a sunset or the drama of a stormy sky. This is happy, open scenery, and it tends to make people feel that a room is fresher and airier than it really is, which is a useful trick in a space that lacks a window.
Brienz gets its unusual color from rock flour, the fine glacial sediment carried down by mountain streams, which scatters light and turns the water a bright blue-green. The lake runs about nine miles between steep, wooded slopes, with the Giessbach Falls tumbling down toward the eastern shore and small villages like Iseltwald sitting along the edge. On a still morning the surrounding peaks lay a clear reflection across the surface. In summer the color is at its most vivid, while cooler months bring a deeper, quieter blue. That shifting, glacier-fed color is the heart of the scene, and it is what makes these prints read so differently from a plain blue seascape.
The fresh color makes this a flexible choice. In a living room, a large Brienz canvas over the sofa brings a clean, uplifting focal point and pairs easily with white, gray, and wood. In a bedroom, the calm water and cool blue keep the mood restful while still feeling fresh. Home offices gain from that same lift, since a bright, clear image can keep a workspace from feeling flat through a long day. Bathrooms with a dry wall clear of direct steam can carry a small turquoise print too, echoing the color of water in a room that already suits it. Wherever it hangs, the turquoise reads best against light, simple surroundings, so a plain wall lets the color do all the talking.
Turquoise is easy to live with because it plays well with neutrals. White and light gray walls let the color stay bright and clean, while natural wood and a few plants keep the room warm and grounded. If you want a little contrast, a touch of coral, sand, or warm brass in the decor around the piece balances the cool blue nicely, though the canvas itself stays simple and ready to hang. Avoid surrounding a turquoise scene with too many competing colors, since the impact comes from that single clear sweep of blue-green. One well-placed piece on a plain wall does more than a crowded gallery of smaller prints. If you want to build the color out, repeat the turquoise in a single accent nearby rather than scattering it around the room.
Each design comes as a single canvas or as a multi-panel set of three, four, or five pieces, in a range of sizes. The lake and its mountain backdrop suit a wide multi-panel layout, where the panels stretch the water and peaks across the wall for a fuller view. For a single canvas over furniture, aim to fill roughly two thirds of the width of the sofa or bed below. On a smaller wall, one mid-size print keeps the balance right. Before ordering, measure the wall, mark the size with painter's tape, and check it from across the room, since a bright, open scene can carry a larger space comfortably. A wide crop plays up the water, while a taller one gives more room to the falls and peaks above.
Every Lake Brienz print is made to order on museum-quality canvas, using archival inks that resist fading through years of normal indoor use, so the turquoise holds its brightness. The canvas is stretched by hand over a solid wooden inner frame and arrives ready to hang, with no extra framing needed. Shipping within the USA is free. To keep the color fresh, hang the piece away from harsh direct sunlight, which fades almost any print over many years, and dust the surface occasionally with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid sprays, which can mark the coating. A canvas like this asks little once it is up, and its bright color is built to stay bright rather than dull with age.
Hang the canvas with its center around 57 to 60 inches off the floor so the water sits at natural eye level. Over a sofa, console, or bed, lower it so the base clears the furniture by six to ten inches, tying the piece to the room. For a multi-panel set, keep an even two-inch gap between panels and line up their centers so the lake reads as one continuous stretch. Leave a little clear wall on each side so the bright color and mountain backdrop have room to open out rather than crowding the frame. In a bathroom, keep the print on a dry wall, clear of any shower spray, so the color stays safe and true.
Brienz art suits people who want a bright, fresh landscape that lifts a room rather than calming it down. It fits modern, coastal, and light-filled homes, and anyone drawn to clear water, to Switzerland, or to a color that feels like a holiday. As a gift it works for a traveler, a swimmer, or a friend setting up a bright, airy space that could use a shot of natural color. Because turquoise reads as clean and happy, the piece is easy to give and easy to place, at home in a living room, a bedroom, or a sunlit hallway. It is the sort of present that makes a wall feel like it has a view, which is a welcome thing in any room that lacks a window onto something green.
To carry the bright mood through a room, keep the palette light and let the turquoise lead. White and pale gray walls, natural wood, and a few plants give the color room to sing, while a single accent in coral or sand adds warmth without stealing focus. A pair of Brienz canvases can flank a window or sit over a bed, echoing the water and giving the wall a clean, balanced look. Avoid piling on other strong colors nearby, since the whole appeal rests on that one clear sweep of blue-green. Kept simple, the scheme reads as fresh and open, the kind of room that feels a few degrees cooler and a little brighter than it really is.
Part of what gives a Brienz print its charm is the detail around the water. The Giessbach Falls thread down the wooded slopes toward the eastern shore in fine white ribbons, catching the eye against the dark green mountains. Small villages sit along the edge, their pale walls and rooftops giving the scene a sense of human scale beside the vast lake. In some prints a lone boat crosses the open water, leaving a soft wake on the glassy surface. These touches keep the image from reading as a flat sheet of color, drawing you in for a closer look once the bright turquoise has caught you across the room. It is scenery that rewards attention, offering something small and new each time you settle in front of it rather than giving everything away at a single glance.
If the color of Brienz appeals, several lakes share its clear blue-green. For glacier-fed turquoise in the Rockies, see Lake Louise wall art and Lake Moraine wall art, and for the emerald boathouse of the Dolomites, browse Lake Braies wall art. To bring the fresh, clean feeling through the rest of a room, our modern wall art collection suits the same bright, contemporary mood, while nature wall art gathers landscapes of every kind.

Speedy delivery, excellent framing, and canvas quality was beyond my highest expectations!
Being an IT professional, I loved the theme of the print. Colors are vivid and clarity is good.
Received picture and it is absolutely beautiful. Great quality. Will buy from here again.
Received as presented in the details on the website. Measurements were also accurate for each panel. Included hardware made hanging a breeze.
We love our canvas. I am very pleased with the fast delivery of he package, considering the time we live in now. I have received a package in perfect condition. Thank you Tiaracle. You are very good and trusted company.
Most items one buys on the internet arrives fine, etc. The challenge is when something goes wrong. My item was shipped to Chicago, and that buyer's item shipped to Hawaii. Hey it happens, but the service, follow up of Tiarcle was nothing short of excellent. They set profits aside (lost on these sales) as shipping from Hawaii to Chicago for the five panel, large was almost the cost of the item itself. I had to initially pay for the shipping but within 2 days, the credit appeared on my card.
If there is any apprehension in service, and what if you aren't satisfied, rest assured, this company goes above and beyond. Safeer, Customer Service Manager, was just amazing.
Mahalo.
Love it! Thank You!
Was as described I would recommend and buy for them again.
