Maine Wall Art
Maine wall art here is lighthouses and coastline. Nubble Light, Bug Light and Portland Head Light cover the built landmarks, Acadia National Park supplies forest meeting the coast, and the state flag closes out the range. The whole collection faces the sea.
Three Lighthouses Carry Most Of This Range
Nubble Light, Bug Light and Portland Head Light are three separate, real lighthouses along the Maine coast, each with its own shape and setting, rather than three versions of the same subject. All three sit within a short drive of each other on the southern coast, near York and Portland, rather than scattered along the state's full length. Treat them as three distinct landmarks and choose based on the structure itself rather than assuming any lighthouse photograph will do.
Nubble Light Sits On Its Own Tidal Island
Cape Neddick Light, better known as Nubble Light, stands on a small rocky island just off York, connected to the mainland only by a narrow strip of rock exposed at low tide. The winter dusk version here shows it isolated on that island with a cold sky behind it, which makes it the starkest and most solitary image in the collection.
Bug Light Is A Miniature Greek Temple On South Portland Harbor
Portland Breakwater Light, known locally as Bug Light, is unusual among lighthouses for its cast iron Greek Revival design, styled with columns like a small temple rather than a plain tower. Set against South Portland's harbor at golden hour, it is the most architecturally distinct of the three lighthouses here.
Portland Head Light Is The Oldest Of The Three
Portland Head Light, commissioned under George Washington in the 1790s, is the oldest lighthouse in Maine and one of the most photographed in the country, set on a rocky point at the entrance to Portland's harbor. The version in this collection is a plainer daylight shot, letting the tower and the surrounding rock carry the composition without added drama from sunset color.
Acadia Is Where The Forest Meets The Sea
A single piece here shows Acadia National Park's coastal forest rather than a lighthouse, pine and rock meeting the water along the park's shoreline. Acadia sits further north and east along the coast than the three lighthouses, on Mount Desert Island, so this piece represents a different stretch of Maine's shoreline rather than the same southern coast repeated. It is the collection's only landscape without a built structure in frame, and it works as a calmer companion piece next to any of the three lighthouse images.
Winter Dusk And Golden Hour Are The Two Lighthouse Moods
Nubble Light is shown at winter dusk, cold and blue toned, while Bug Light is shown at golden hour, warm against the harbor. Portland Head Light sits between the two in a plainer daylight version. Choosing among the three lighthouses is really a choice of season and light as much as a choice of structure.
The State Flag Comes Plain And Weathered
Two versions of the Maine state flag appear here, one with its full seal rendered cleanly and one with a grunge, weathered texture applied over the same design. The seal shows a moose beneath a pine tree, with a farmer and a sailor standing on either side, which places these pieces closer to a coat of arms than to a plain field of color. Both are a separate purchase from the lighthouse photographs, bought for state pride or a gift rather than for a coastal view.
More Coastal Scenes Or More State Pride
For lighthouse, harbor and shoreline photography from other coastlines see coastal wall art, and for other state flags and seals see flag wall art.

Common Questions
Which lighthouses appear in Maine wall art?
Nubble Light near York, Bug Light in South Portland and Portland Head Light at the entrance to Portland's harbor. Each is a distinct, named structure rather than a generic coastal scene.
What makes Bug Light different from a typical lighthouse?
It was built in a cast iron Greek Revival style, with columns around the tower rather than a plain cylindrical shape, which is why it is sometimes described as looking like a small temple rather than a working lighthouse.
Is there any Maine scenery here besides lighthouses?
Yes, one piece: a coastal forest view from Acadia National Park, with pine trees and rocky shoreline but no lighthouse or other built structure in frame.
Which is the oldest lighthouse in this collection?
Portland Head Light, commissioned in the 1790s and among the oldest lighthouses in the United States, shown here in a plain daylight version rather than at sunset or dusk.
Are these canvases ready to hang?
Yes. Each is printed to order, stretched over a solid wooden inner frame and shipped ready to hang, with free shipping. The inks are archival and resist fading.
Let customers speak for us
from 385 reviewsSpeedy delivery, excellent framing, and canvas quality was beyond my highest expectations!
Being an IT professional, I loved the theme of the print. Colors are vivid and clarity is good.
Received picture and it is absolutely beautiful. Great quality. Will buy from here again.
Received as presented in the details on the website. Measurements were also accurate for each panel. Included hardware made hanging a breeze.
We love our canvas. I am very pleased with the fast delivery of he package, considering the time we live in now. I have received a package in perfect condition. Thank you Tiaracle. You are very good and trusted company.
Most items one buys on the internet arrives fine, etc. The challenge is when something goes wrong. My item was shipped to Chicago, and that buyer's item shipped to Hawaii. Hey it happens, but the service, follow up of Tiarcle was nothing short of excellent. They set profits aside (lost on these sales) as shipping from Hawaii to Chicago for the five panel, large was almost the cost of the item itself. I had to initially pay for the shipping but within 2 days, the credit appeared on my card.
If there is any apprehension in service, and what if you aren't satisfied, rest assured, this company goes above and beyond. Safeer, Customer Service Manager, was just amazing.
Mahalo.
Love it! Thank You!
Was as described I would recommend and buy for them again.
