South Carolina Wall Art
South Carolina wall art is mostly Charleston: its waterfront fountain, its cable stayed bridge and its pastel colored houses at dusk. Myrtle Beach and the state capitol in Columbia round out the range, along with a handful of flag and map pieces bought for identity rather than decor.
The Pineapple Fountain Is Charleston's Own Symbol
In Waterfront Park, the tiered fountain shaped like a pineapple has stood as a symbol of hospitality since the 1990s, and it turns into a shallow wading pool for children in warm months. Most of the versions here are shot at dusk or twilight, when the fountain's lights come on against a darkening sky, which is why the palette across this subgroup runs consistently warm.
The Ravenel Bridge Crosses The Cooper River
The cable stayed bridge that appears here under different names is the Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge, which connects downtown Charleston to Mount Pleasant across the Cooper River. Opened in 2005, its two diamond shaped towers and fanned cables are the most graphic shape in the whole range, and the sunset versions turn the cables into thin dark lines against orange sky.
Charleston's Pastels Read Softer Than A Skyline
Away from the fountain and the bridge, several prints show the colored row houses along the Charleston waterfront and the historic downtown streets at dusk. These read closer to a watercolor than a typical skyline shot, since the subject is a row of low pastel buildings rather than towers, and they suit a room that wants warmth without a strong graphic focal point.
Myrtle Beach Brings The Coast And A Ferris Wheel
Myrtle Beach is South Carolina's coastal resort strip, and the print here centers on its beachfront Ferris wheel lit up at sunset. It is a different kind of picture from the Charleston pieces: brighter, more carnival colored, and built around a single mechanical shape rather than architecture or water.
Columbia's State House Wears A Copper Dome
The state capitol sits in Columbia, South Carolina's capital rather than Charleston, and its dome is copper rather than the stone or slate common on older statehouses. The prints here show it both as a straight facade shot and in a wider view with the surrounding gardens, and it is the one subject in this range tied to state government rather than tourism.
The Flag And Map Pieces Are Not Photographs
A small group here is graphic rather than photographic: the state flag on fabric or a weathered texture, and a map style silhouette of the state's outline. These are bought for identity, a gift or a den wall rather than as a scenic picture, and they are worth knowing about separately so they do not arrive as a surprise among the skyline and fountain shots. One further print shows a C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft, tied to the airlift wing based at Joint Base Charleston rather than to any waterfront view.
The Waterfront Set Leans Wide And Low
The fountain, bridge and Charleston skyline pictures are all wide, low horizon subjects, so a panoramic canvas or a wide horizontal print carries them better than a square or tall one. The Myrtle Beach Ferris wheel is closer to a centered subject and reads fine at a more standard rectangle.
How Each Canvas Is Made
Every canvas is made to order on museum quality material, printed with archival inks that resist fading, and stretched over a solid wooden inner frame before it ships ready to hang, at no extra cost for shipping.
Common Questions
What does South Carolina wall art usually show?
Mostly Charleston: the Pineapple Fountain in Waterfront Park, the Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge and the pastel row houses downtown. Myrtle Beach, the Columbia state capitol and a handful of flag and map pieces make up the rest.
What is the Pineapple Fountain?
A tiered fountain in Charleston's Waterfront Park, built as a symbol of hospitality, which doubles as a wading pool in warm months. Most prints of it here are shot at dusk, when its lights come on against a darkening sky.
Which bridge appears in the Charleston pictures?
The Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge, a cable stayed bridge opened in 2005 that connects downtown Charleston to Mount Pleasant over the Cooper River. Its diamond shaped towers and fanned cables are the most graphic subject in this range.
What size suits a Charleston skyline print?
Take about two thirds of the width of the furniture below the wall, and favor a horizontal or panoramic crop, since the fountain, bridge and skyline pictures are all wide, low subjects rather than tall ones.
Which room suits a South Carolina canvas?
A living room or entry with warm tones suits the fountain and Charleston dusk pictures well. The flag and map pieces work better in a den or office, since they read as identity pieces rather than scenery.

Let customers speak for us
from 385 reviewsSpeedy delivery, excellent framing, and canvas quality was beyond my highest expectations!
Being an IT professional, I loved the theme of the print. Colors are vivid and clarity is good.
Received picture and it is absolutely beautiful. Great quality. Will buy from here again.
Received as presented in the details on the website. Measurements were also accurate for each panel. Included hardware made hanging a breeze.
We love our canvas. I am very pleased with the fast delivery of he package, considering the time we live in now. I have received a package in perfect condition. Thank you Tiaracle. You are very good and trusted company.
Most items one buys on the internet arrives fine, etc. The challenge is when something goes wrong. My item was shipped to Chicago, and that buyer's item shipped to Hawaii. Hey it happens, but the service, follow up of Tiarcle was nothing short of excellent. They set profits aside (lost on these sales) as shipping from Hawaii to Chicago for the five panel, large was almost the cost of the item itself. I had to initially pay for the shipping but within 2 days, the credit appeared on my card.
If there is any apprehension in service, and what if you aren't satisfied, rest assured, this company goes above and beyond. Safeer, Customer Service Manager, was just amazing.
Mahalo.
Love it! Thank You!
Was as described I would recommend and buy for them again.
