Square Wall Art
Square wall art at Tiaracle is a set of four square canvas prints that hang together as a 2 x 2 grid, forming one large square artwork. Each set is printed to order on museum-quality canvas with archival inks that resist fading, and every panel is stretched over a solid wooden inner frame and arrives ready to hang. Overall display sizes are 17 x 17, 37 x 37, and 63 x 63 inches. Shipping is free, and returns are accepted for 30 days from delivery in the US, UK, Australia and Canada. If you searched for a square wall art set of 4, this is that format exactly.
What Is a Square Wall Art Set of 4?
A square wall art set of 4 divides one artwork across four equal square canvas panels, hung in a 2 x 2 grid with a small gap between panels. Assembled on the wall, the four panels read as a single square piece, and the gaps become part of the composition. The format is listed as 4 Square on the product page. It suits walls where a square footprint fits better than a wide rectangle, and the grid adds structure that a single canvas does not have.
What Sizes Does Square Wall Art Come In?
Square sets come in three overall sizes: 17 x 17 inches, 37 x 37 inches, and 63 x 63 inches, measured across the full 2 x 2 grid as hung. The 17 x 17 inch set suits a narrow wall section, a hallway, or a grouping with other small pieces. The 37 x 37 inch set is the versatile middle size for bedrooms and dining rooms. The 63 x 63 inch set is a statement piece for a large open wall, and it needs real space: leave breathing room on every side rather than pushing it against a corner.
Square Sets Are Canvas Prints
Every square set is produced as a stretched canvas print. There is no framed option on this format, because each of the four panels is stretched over its own solid wooden inner frame and hangs directly, which keeps the grid gaps clean and even. If you want framed artwork instead, the single panel framed canvas prints and framed prints cover the same artwork catalogue in framed formats.
Which Subjects Work Best as a Square Grid?
Subjects with a strong center hold up best when divided into four panels. Mountain peaks such as Pikes Peak, constellation and astronomy scenes, city skylines at golden hour, and bold flag designs all keep their focus across the grid, because the eye reassembles the image around the central subject. Wide panoramas lose less familiar subjects at the gaps, so if the image you love is a broad landscape, compare it as a 3 piece or wider multi panel layout before choosing the square grid.
Square Wall Art by Room
In a living room, a 63 x 63 inch grid carries a large wall on its own and sits best centered over a sofa or console. In a bedroom, 37 x 37 inches above the headboard gives a balanced, symmetrical anchor. In a dining room, the grid format echoes the geometry of the table below it. Hallways and entryways take the 17 x 17 inch set, where a wide rectangle would not fit. Stairway walls usually favor vertical wall art instead, because the wall itself is tall rather than square.
How to Hang a 2 x 2 Canvas Grid
Hang the four panels with equal one inch gaps, the gap the 2 x 2 grid is designed on (the printed hanging guide has the position of each panel at every size), and treat the whole grid as one artwork when placing it: center of the grid at 57 to 60 inches from the floor, and about 8 to 10 inches above furniture. Start with the top left panel, level it carefully, and set the other three off it, measuring each gap rather than judging by eye. A level and a pencil mark per corner keep the grid true. Because each panel arrives ready to hang, the whole set goes up with four fixings.
Square Grid or Single Square Canvas?
Much of what sells online as square wall art is a single square canvas or a square metal panel. Tiaracle's square format is different: it is always a set of four square panels forming one 2 x 2 grid. The grid version has more presence at the same overall size, ships in smaller panels that are easier to handle, and adds the gallery-style rhythm of repeated squares. If you specifically want one single square canvas, this collection is not that; if you want the set of 4 look, it is exactly that.
How Square Canvas Sets Are Made
Each set is printed when you order it, on museum-quality canvas with archival inks that resist fading. The artwork is divided into four equal squares, and each square is stretched over its own solid wooden inner frame. The panels arrive ready to hang, with no assembly beyond placing them on the wall. Shipping is free, and returns are accepted for 30 days from delivery in the US, UK, Australia and Canada.
Common Mistakes with Square Wall Art Sets
The first mistake is uneven gaps, which break the illusion of one artwork; measure every gap rather than eyeballing. The second is sizing from the panel rather than the grid: the listed size is the overall display size, so a 37 x 37 inch set uses four panels well under that. The third is cramming the 63 x 63 inch set onto a wall that also holds shelves or a doorway; the large grid needs clear wall on all four sides to read as intentional.
This collection is part of Wall Art by Layout and Finish, where every layout is drawn to scale beside the other finishes and sizes.
Common Questions
What is square wall art?
Square wall art is artwork with an equal width and height. At Tiaracle it comes as a set of four square canvas prints hung in a 2 x 2 grid, which assembles into one large square artwork on the wall. Each panel is printed to order and arrives ready to hang.
What sizes do square wall art sets come in?
Three overall sizes: 17 x 17 inches, 37 x 37 inches, and 63 x 63 inches, measured across the full 2 x 2 grid as displayed on the wall. The individual panels are correspondingly smaller, which also makes the large sets easy to carry and hang.
How do you hang a square wall art set of 4?
Treat the grid as one artwork. Center it 57 to 60 inches from the floor, keep one inch gaps between panels, and hang the top left panel first, setting the other three off it with measured gaps. Each panel arrives ready to hang, so a set needs four fixings and a level.
Is square wall art framed?
Square sets are stretched canvas prints, with each panel stretched over a solid wooden inner frame and hung directly, without an outer frame. That keeps the gaps between the four panels clean. For framed artwork, the same catalogue is available as single panel framed canvas prints and framed prints.
Where does a large square wall art set work best?
The 63 x 63 inch grid suits a large open wall in a living room, above a wide sofa, or a dining room wall with clear space around it. A square grid needs breathing room on all four sides, so it works better as the only piece on its wall than as part of a cluster.
