United Arab Emirates wall art is almost entirely Dubai: the Burj Khalifa above the skyline, the choreographed Dubai Fountain, Palm Jumeirah from the air, and the sail shaped Burj Al Arab. Abu Dhabi appears through the white domes of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and the range closes with the national flag.
Dubai supplies more pictures here than every other subject combined, and the reason is visual rather than geographic. The Burj Khalifa is the tallest building on earth, so it appears in nearly every skyline frame as the fixed point the eye returns to, whether the shot is taken from the marina, from Business Bay or from across Downtown at dusk. A canvas of this range is, more often than not, a canvas of that one tower and what surrounds it.
The fountain performs on the Burj Khalifa Lake with jets lit from below, and the pictures here are shot after dark, when the light trails and reflections are the actual subject rather than the water itself. A frame of the fountain mid display reads as color and movement more than as architecture, which makes it a different kind of piece from a still skyline shot and a poor match for the same wall.
The palm shaped island is legible only from an aerial view, since at ground level it is simply a road along the coast. Every picture of it here is a wide aerial frame, and it is one of the few subjects in this range where the composition is dictated entirely by the geography rather than by the photographer's choice.
Shaped like a sail on its own island off Jumeirah Beach, the Burj Al Arab reads as a single object rather than as part of a skyline, so it suits a frame where it is the only subject rather than one tower among many. Pictures of it are aerial or near level, never mixed into the Downtown group.
The Marina district is a canal lined with closely packed towers, photographed from the water so the buildings double in reflection. It is a denser, more crowded composition than the open Downtown skyline, and it suits a wall where that density reads as pattern rather than clutter, such as a hallway or a narrow run of wall beside a doorway.
The mosque's white marble domes and courtyard are the one Abu Dhabi subject with real presence in this range, alongside a skyline view of the capital at sunset. It is a calmer, paler picture than anything from Dubai, closer in tone to a desert landscape than to a city skyline, and it reads well on its own rather than beside the neon toned fountain shots.
A United Arab Emirates flag piece, plain and also rendered with a gold falcon emblem, sits at the end of the range for anyone buying for identity or as a gift rather than for a skyline view. The flag's four colors, red, green, white and black, read as a strong graphic block on their own rather than as part of the cityscape group.
Sunset, twilight and full night versions of the same skyline are genuinely different pictures, not variations on one shot. A sunset frame carries gold and orange in the glass towers, twilight sits on a narrow band of blue before the lights take over, and a full night version is built entirely from artificial light against black sky. Pick the one that matches the room's own lighting rather than the one that looked best on screen, since a gold sunset print under cool white bulbs will fight its own frame.
Every piece is printed to order on museum quality canvas with archival inks that resist fading, stretched over a solid wooden inner frame and shipped ready to hang, with free shipping.
Mostly Dubai: the Burj Khalifa skyline, the Dubai Fountain at night, Palm Jumeirah from the air, Dubai Marina and the Burj Al Arab. Abu Dhabi appears through the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and there is a United Arab Emirates flag piece at the end of the range.
No. The Dubai Fountain pictures are night shots built from colored light trails and reflections on water, closer to abstract color than to architecture. A skyline picture is a still, structural view of the towers. They read very differently on a wall and rarely suit the same room.
Because the palm shape that gives the island its name is only visible from the air. At street level it looks like an ordinary coastal road, so every picture of it here is an aerial frame, wide enough to show the full outline.
A Dubai Marina picture. The canal is lined edge to edge with towers and doubled by their own reflections, so the density reads as a repeating pattern rather than a single view, which holds up in a narrow space better than an open skyline does.
Yes. Each is printed to order, stretched over a solid wooden inner frame and shipped ready to hang, with free shipping. The inks are archival and resist fading. For the city on its own see Dubai wall art, for skylines generally see city wall art, and for the desert scenes at the edges of this range see desert wall art.
